1. When is the right time for me to choose my career?

   Ideally, you should decide it while studying in 9th or latest when you are studying in 10th standard.  After 10th, you have to decide which subjects you should take for 10+2 - Science / Commerce or some other stream.  Moreover, by this time, you are aware what subjects interest you most, what is your temperament, what do you want to do in your life. 
   

2. The career is decided by the availability of a job. Isn't it?

   No.  Do you ever go to Railway station without first deciding where would you go?   Do you decide your destination on the availability of the trains at the station?   Will you get a train going towards Kolkata whereas you had actually wanted to go to Mumbai?  No !   If there is no direct, convenient  train for Mumbai available, you would get the second best option - any train going towards Mumbai.  Same is the case with career also.  If you wish to be a scientist, you won't ever be happy by becoming a chartered accountant.  If your like banking as a career, you won't like to be a teacher.  
   

3. Who can guide me about my career?

   Basically, it is your own responsibility to find out  what career do you want for yourself.   If you are uncertain and can't decide, there are professionals who may help you in this matter.  They would analyse your basic skills set, your circumstances, your level of knowledge, your hobbies, your strengths and weaknesses, your financial position and on the basis of all these inputs, they would suggest you various career opportunities to choose anyone out of them.
