What did BJP get ? A few fractures and that's all!

Posted by Sushant Singhal on August 31, 2010 at 11:05 PM

While Dr. Dinish Chandra is gone,  BJP is the biggest loser in this episode.  While on one hand,  the "credit" of getting Dr. Dinesh Chandra Singh transferred to Allahabad has gone to BSP leaders and not to the BJP,  the BJP leader and city MLA Raghav Lakhanpal is being severely criticised for being instrumental in causing this lathi charge on the agitators.

"Think before you speak" say the people of great wisdom.  This is something our City MLA also has to learn.  His use of abusive words for Dr. Dinesh Chandra Singh is despicable and paints a very shabby picture of this political leader.  One may only hope and wish that he utters words more carefully in future.

Those agitators of BJP who suffered from injuries may find solace in the fact that there won't be any criminal proceedings against any of them.   So, even if the "credit of getting Mr. Dinesh Chandra" could not go to them, they just have to worry about their fractures and nothing else.  FIRs lodged against them are reportedly being withdrwawn.  Congratulations to them.

My comments would be available to my friends through ghost e-mail Ids as the server is not entertaining my comments after Alok Kumar negated them completely. I have said nothing personal about him; but if any of the curt truth hurt someone, it is deeply regretted. Personally, Alok is a nice guy, and i never tried to place him in dock. I have held the entire system responsible for it. I can understand how precariousy he has poised himself on the horns of dilemma. My friend and brother Sushantji may have been instigated against floating them over the portal, but in a democracy, a voice throttled becomes more provocative. Sushantji, I can avail you all the visuals and pictures, if u assure me of the courage to upload them on the portal, as you initially promised.

Dear Prashant,

Some clarifications seem necessary to go on record.

1. No one has instigated me to block anyone's comments so far. Whatever comments appeared here once are still here on the site.

2. I have checked again your status on this site. Like others, your membership is absolutely normal and you enjoy the same privilages as others do. I will have to find out the technical glitch which is causing this misunderstanding on your part.

3. Although personally I didn't like the manner in which you referred to the DM Saharanpur (drill master and all that...), I didn't do anything about it. Didn't even try to moderate the exact phrase used by you. I feel that whenever we feel a need to criticise someone, we can and should do it without calling him names / without referring to him in an insulting manner. Being a reporter yourself, you would be very much aware of your privileges and also the accompanying responsibilities.

3. Till such time you are able to comment in your own name, you are most welcome to use any other login details to continue to air your views. We look forward to hear from you on a regular basis.

Yours sincerely,

Sushant Singhal

Can a crumbling BJP ever retrench itself through tawdry tricks?
It should rather raise concerns of public interest.

I am sorry to read that Dr. Chandra got transferred to Allahabad. With this Saharanpur is deprived of services of one of the efficient, honest and dedicated administrator. BJP and BSP may be claiming credit of it but their action is self demaging. Speaking abusing language for a honest administrator is shameful and too low of a personality.

Its very unfortunate to abuse such dedicated officer who did fantastic work for Saharanpur. But the fact remains that tongue of foolish people can not be caught. Apart from thousands of saharanpurians, i am proud of Mr Dinesh Chandra for his honesty and dedication . I wish him all the best for his new assignment . I am sure he will shine in Allahabad also as well. At the same time I pray to god to give some good brain to such handful leaders, who were involved in agitation, that they must fight for good cause for this Saharanpur city rather than agitating for their own benefits!
Hope the new CM will be as tough, honest and dedicated person who will do good work for Saharanpur and assume this city as his own city. I also expect that these GALI MOHALLAS leaders will ensure that the new officer shall not do any good work for saharanpurians, Why I said this, because their mentality has proved the facts. Lets watch !
