Saharanpur ( 12 Feb. 2012 )   Saharanpurians formed a queue for a different reason today.  They were standing in the queue to give their blood in response to a call from The Saharanpur Dot Com and Sri Ram Krishna Sewa Sansthan (Regd.) here at IMA Bhawan, Saharanpur.  Total 61 units of blood were handed over to the team of doctors coming from Himalayan Institute Hospital Trust Jollygrant, Dehradun while 8 donors were found to be having poor blood and were therefore suggested to improve their RBCs and wait till next occasion.

Padmashree Bharat Bhushan, who together with Pt. Suresh Chaitanya,  Dr. S.K. Upadhyay, Pt. Jai Prakash Yagyik, Shri Satya Prakash Sharma and Sushant Singhal paid floral tributes to the holy memory of St. Pathik Ji Maharaj kudoed the maiden effort by thesaharanpur dot com and Sri Ram Krishna Sewa Sansthan.

Reaching as early as 9.30 a.m.  for donating their blood were Shri Hariom Ganpati Sahastrabudhhe, Principal, Saraswati Vidya Mandir Inter College, Saharanpur, Miss Ragini Garg, Vipul Kapil and Anuj Jain. The people of Saharanpur did not allow the team of HIHT to take rest thereafter till 2 p.m.

The credit for success of this evdeavour must go to Bhagwat Bhushan Pt. Jai Prakash Ji 'Yagyik' ,  Controller of Sri Ram Krishna Sewa Sansthan, who worked tirelessly for several days - meeting and motivating people to come forward for blood donation.  Not only this, the team of  Sri Ram Krishna Sewa Sansthan made necessary arrangements for the program under the skippership of Dr. S.K. Upadhyay, Chairman of the Saharanpur Chapter of Sewa Sansthan.
